    • Halloween Safety Tips

      October 19, 2021

      1. Cross the street at corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks. Look left, right, and left again when crossing and keep looking as you cross.
      2. Put electronic devices down, keep head up and walk, don't run, across the street.
      3. Teach children to make eye contact with drivers before crossing in front of them.
      4. Always walk on sidewalks or paths. If no sidewalk is available walk facing traffic.
      5. Watch for cars that are turning or backing up.
      6. Decorate costumes and bags with reflective tape.
      7. Choose face paint and makeup instead of masks which can block a child's vision.
      8. Carry flashlights or glow sticks to help children see and be seen by drivers.

Davis County Realtors wishes all a Safe and Fun Halloween!

    • July 4th Celebrations

      June 30, 2020

THE FIRST FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS WEREN'T MUCH DIFFERENT THAN TODAY'S.

Our founding fathers also liked fireworks! Read this newspaper clipping from 1777!

July 18, 1777 issue of the Virginia Gazette describes the July 4 celebration in Philadelphia:

"The evening was closed with the ringing of bells, and at night there was a grand exhibition of fireworks, which began and concluded with thirteen rockets on the commons, and the city was beautifully illuminated. Every thing was conducted with the greatest order and decorum, and the face of joy and gladness was universal."

Celebrating the 4th of July, Independence Day

Davis County Realtors always wishes our family and friends to know the face of joy and gladness!!

      Happy 4th!
